Sleepy Hollow

What was tricky about the storyboards for Sleepy Hallow was handling the Headless Horseman’s character. When provoked this character becomes headless. So the action scene I storyboarded depicts his head disappearing when the scene takes to action but when the woman who loves him views the Headless Horseman, her POV shows him with his head. During an action sequence this can get very tricky cinematically for a director. This is why the storyboard becomes most valuable for all departments of the filming company especially the director.
