A too much of a good thing story.
This is my third book. I seems I'm running through the genres. My first book, Nine Degrees North, was a YA, Historic Fiction novel. The second was a memoire, In The Shadows of Giants. And now a fully illustrated children's picture book written all in rhyme.
Long ago, a boy named Kean and earth’s creatures lived in a world of perpetual darkness. This was due to a thick blanket of clouds that covered the entire world. Above the canopy, in the sun, lived a family of Sprites who had never even seen night.
When Kean’s kite pokes a hole into the world of light, it sets into motion the creatures plan to bring the light into their land. A rhyming adventure that forges the beginnings of daytime, nighttime and how the stars came to be. In this imaginative, too much of a good thing story, two worlds discover the power of a win/win situation. How The Stars Came To Be smacks of classic storytelling lore that will captivate you and your child’s imagination read after read.
